We ignored them. Then, there was the assault and degrading of one of our citizens. We pressed for a resolution, and were swiftly ignored. Next came the espionage, the unwelcome entries into our lands, and the slights upon our sovereignty. Once again, our attempts to resolve the situation peacefully were ignored entirely. With no alternative recourse, a war to redress the slights was declared. In response, rather than engaging in war like a civilized and moral society, the men of the south embraced a practice most vile; the abduction and murder of children and noncombatants. Proof, perhaps, that their values of morality and peace run only skin-deep. Not since the Inferi Invasion had such barbarity as the slaughter of the young been seen. One can well imagine the world’s shock when the Orenian state then chose to fully embrace their newfound national passion, with both the State itself and their mercenary allies declaring their intent to purposefully target both noncombatants and the children of Norland, all in a contradictory mission to paint the Norlandic people as barbarians. As such, it is time we march south. The savages of the South must be taught the consequences of their immorality and dishonor. The depraved practice of child murder will be punished in the only way it deserves, and they will be shown the costs of their most foul moral failings.
