THE ElECTED OFFICIALS EDICT

 

‘To Preside over the Legislature’

An edict from the Crown & The Office of The Lord Speaker

 

On this 4th of Yov and Termey, 391 ES

It is the purpose of this edict to amend the current term for elected officials to six years instead of four. It is the Lord Speaker’s belief that due to the most recent change of electing only two Royal Aldermen, an election every four years is not needed and an additional two more years will allow the Royal Aldermen and Grand Maer more time to achieve their goals in the Duma, along with adding two more valuable Duma sittings before the term ends.

 

With this, the Crown does proclaim that the following amendment shall be made to the Haurul Caezk:

 

211: Elections to the Royal Duma

    211.01: Elections to the Royal Duma shall be held every six years by the Speaker and the Palatine;
