An invitation to the festivities planned in the Landgraviate of Alstreim regarding the finished construction of Merryweather Castle, concluded on the 10th day of Sun’s Smile, 1847.

IT HAS PLEASED the Royal House of Alstreim to inform our esteemed kin and friends, and the entirety of the Savoyard realm, of a most celebrated occasion for the Landgraviate. After nearly a decade of arduous efforts by a select company of Daelish and Waldenian builders and architects, preceded by extensive planning, the Dream of Ottomar now rises over the waters of Merryweather Bay - the new seat of the Landgraviate and a home for the Royal House, Merryweather Castle.

 

By Landgrave's decree, the Castle intends to open its doors and shelter to the prospective future population of the Landgraviate. Thus its opening day and inauguration, on the 10th of Owyn’s Flame, 1848, shall be appropriately marked by an evening of festivities organized by the Landgravine of Alstreim, Nikita Averilya. 

 

All friends of the Landgraviate, and the nobility and gentry of the Principality of Savoy are therefore invited to join us in this occasion of merriment.

The schedule will consist of the following festivities:

 

I. The opening court of the Landgraviate, where a collective prayer for the wellbeing of Merryweather Castle shall take place before any pleas or suggestions addressed to the court.

 

II. A show of martial prowess before the throne, where the winner shall receive a prize of 50 Minas.

 

III. A feast of merriment, where Waldenian drinks and food shall be served amidst a round of Waldenian dice games, made popular by the allied County of Freimark. The prize pool shall be 50 Minas.

 

IV. A ceremony of growth and prosperity, where all within attendance will place a seed to be grown on the new land marking their admission and honors to the Landgraviate.  The ceremony will conclude with final words and prayers as the Family bids all guests a special good night.
