The Imperial Government would like to extend its thanks for the service of Sir Henry Penton in his role as Secretary of The Treasury for many decades of long and loyal service. In the wake of his promotion to the Office of The Vicechancellor, we see fit to name his successor. 

 

It is with the highest of confidence and firm belief that we shall appoint Her Imperial Highness, The Princess Anne, Duchess of Auvergne, Baroness Consort of Rivia. To the office of the Secretary of the Treasury, her decades of service alongside Sir Henry Penton as the Undersecretary for the Treasury have more than prepared her for this role. We look forward to seeing the great work she shall surely accomplish in this most noble position.
