Ultimate Descendant Combat Championship 

(UDCC)

• The goal of the UDCC is to crown the Combat Champion of the Descendants through a four round gauntlet where they shall face Descendants of differing races all fighting with the weapon and armor of their choice. 

• Combatants pay the registration fee to enter a bracket of 16 fighters. 

• Preferably, the Grand Gambler aims to allow a maximum of four combatants of the same race to enter so any excess registered combatants shall be put on a waiting list and only accepted if the maximum four combatants of another race cannot be filled. Through diversity in fighters, we may find a champion who can face every obstacle thrown at them. 

• Spectators have the option to place bets on fights and turn a couple of coins into an entire bag! 

• Combat ends when either fighter is physically incapable of self defense so death shall not be an intended outcome in the least. 

• Upon crowning the Combat Champion, the top three combatants receive their prize purse.

• Combat Champions gain the ability to register for a challenge against another Combat Champion in order to obtain the title of the Ultimate Combat Champion of the Descendants.

 

Almarian Horse Racing Championship (AHRC)

• The AHRC follows much of the same structure as the UDCC in that registration costs 50 minas and the prize purses are of the same amounts. 

• The structure of the bracket of 16 racers will pit descendants of various races against one another in groups of four. In the search of a Racing Champion of the Descendants, three rounds of racing shall be held upon a track marked by checkpoints along local roads. 

• Racing Champions reserve the same right of challenging a fellow Racing Champion to obtain the title of the Supreme Racing Champion of the Descendants.

I, Rorik Faerburg, would like to announce a project very dear to my heart. For I hope in these times of closed gates and lost dreams upon battlefields that joyous sport and blood-pumping gambling might closen ties between the Descendant races. 

 

On this coming 10th of the Grand Harvest (Saturday around 5PM), The Grand Gambler Traveling Games will officially hold its grand opening and begin offering a variety of games to play and bet upon with comrades or strangers. Our doors are currently open for a soft opening so feel free to come visit us now! Come to our wagon located just outside of Karosgrad in Haense to fill your night with friendly competition and finely crafted spirits, wine, ale, and herbs from every corner of Almaris. The Grand Gambler is a place to be merry while appreciating the cultures which paint the lands of this beautiful realm. A wide variety of games are offered for parties of all quantities, such as simple games of dice, Checkers, Othello, Mancala, Cornhole, and even a fighting ring for your use in safely settling all of your aggressive disagreements! 

 

The Grand Gambler is not only a wagon of games. Officially, we are in the business of curating joy and merriment as shall be seen through combat and horse racing tournaments held at the various settlements who wish to host the Grand Gambler upon their lands. Contestants all across Almaris will enter tournaments to win a life changing victory purse along with the attention and admiration of their fellow descendants. Through competitive sport we shall crown the champions of Almaris through the Ultimate Descendant Combat Championship (UDCC) and the Almarian Horse Racing Championship (AHRC).

 

It is my hope to travel to all the homes of Descendants and host these events to bring the delighted eyes and ears of our kin together in celebration. 
 

The Grand Gambler awaits your arrival in Haense! A night full of excitement lies ahead and hopefully it might end with a bit of added weight to your coin purse. Let the revelry begin, Almaris!
