Who am I?

Post made because of a character mindset change. 

 

Once before I have begged for an answer.
Once before I was given it.

 

Body contorted by powers not of this realm.
Mind throttled by many who lay claim.
Yet now I look in the mirror and what?

 

Flesh is not the same. 
Faces once known to be me now change, turn.
They twist, fight each other - I feel this itch.
The itch to change myself, be those who I am not.

 

My hand flickers between tones yet its form is true.
My eyes once honey gold turn forest green and yet I feel no closer to nature.
Hair grows and curls, yet I feel no closer to my true self.

 

I walk this path knowingly and I accept those symbols which do float before me.
Signs of the earth and air, mortality and life.
Yet more flicker, ones more sinister. 
I accept them wholly.

 

The Goat leads me down this path,
snakes line the sides.

My face changes, yet I am true.
Yes, I am me and I walk this path.

 

Let it shine true.

 

Give me my crown created from the hells.

 

I so deserve it.
