RE: 2GB/s DDoS & Updates.

Hey guys, just wanted to throw up with a quick post explaining our downtime. While I (Vaquxine) was at school today, the server suffered from a 2GB/s attack which basically obliterated our dedicated lines. I just got home about 20 minutes ago and just finished mitigating the attack, so we're back online for now.

On the note of lack of updates, both I and availer have been EXTREMELY busy with IRL lives, we have not in any way shape or form forgotten about LOTC or all the amazing content we still plan to add to it. It's coming, just have some patience and faith!

Thanks everyone, enjoy the server being back up.

Thanks for getting the server back up! If only we can make an counterattack to the attackers.

The fact that people even DDoS to begin with, whether they're banned or angry that their application was denied or something, only shows ones' incapability to reason like any other normal human would. :-|

...The day I get accepted, the server decides to crash. D:

Minecraft's Authentication Servers are down, which are stopping people from connecting to most servers at the moment. Giving people the "Connection Reset" error.

When i saw this i lol'd. When will people learn to stop DDoS'ing. Just a waste of space on a computer. But people have there reason. At least they are not like "Give me back on server plox or i ddos". I smirked when i saw the DDoS thing.

I remember on a friends ts server someone threatened to ddos an admin. Turns out that the admin was the only person on the ts who could actually ddos.

We got a kick out of that.

And turns out the person gets banned from every server he logs on too.
