As Adele sat in the Hospital of St. Amyas merely hours after she had given birth to her firstborn, Emma, the Countess broached the subject of when she and her twin sister had gone on their coming-of-age trip. She mentioned that it is now a Ludovar right of passage to adulthood. The new mother sat there with her newborn baby in Johanna's arms, she gave Johanna three questions to answer on this trip.

I: WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR WORST MISTAKE?

 

As Johanna dismounted her horse arriving in Daeland, she met up with Casimir. The Uncle-Figure gave a tent to Johanna as she did not know how long she would be staying in Daeland. Once she sat down, she felt ready to turn herself in for the night. She started to think about the questions given to her, so she hoisted herself up from her bed and started writing in her travel journal.

 

“One of mea worst mistake in life would be letting people walk all over me, telling me who exactly to be, and letting them have control over mea life when they did niet have the right to. That alone was mea worst mistake. Ea now know how to speak out and tell them “nie” and ea know now when to flip them off.”

 

“The worst mistake ea will ever have in mea life would be… Niet telling mea Papej and Aedypapej that ea love them, and how ea truly felt once they were on their deathbeds. Ea loved mea Papej Josef and mea Aedypapej Johann with every bone in mea body. They were the two people that were there for me in mea darkest time. Even though it has been years after their deaths it still pains me to this day. Ea fear ea will never be over their deaths; they were the best people ea ever knew. Ea deal with grief differently than others. Ea have noticed that mea friends have become… Worried for me because of mea grief for mea Aedypapej who died a little over a year ago. Ea promised them that ea was fine, but ea knew that ea was lying to meaself. The way ea deal with grief is that ea become an insomniac, and mea appetite becomes little-to-non-existent. Ea eat enough to get by in life. But ea am getting better now. For them. For mea Papej and Aedypapej…”

II: WHAT MOTIVATES YOU IN LIFE?

 

Johanna flipped through pages of her journal, and she pondered on the answer to her third question. She had never really thought about what motivates her in life, and she spent at least a few days thinking about this matter. After a few days when she got the answer, she decided to jot it down in her journal.

 

“What motivates me in life is mea family, friends and mea passed loved ones. They push me to be meaself and only meaself. To reach mea full potential and be what ea always wanted to be: Me, and Me alone. Nie one will stop me from being Me. Nie one, nie one at all…”

 

“Another thing that motivates me in life is mamej Sibylla, papej Pyotr and cousin Adele. They took me in when mea papej died, and raised me to be who ea am. Without them ea would niet be the woman ea am today. Thanks to them yam still the Johanna everyone knows and loves.”

III: WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE?

 

As Johanna dismounted her horse she tied it up to a nearby post, then wandering the streets of Oren. Later on she came across her twin, Cecilya. Disappointed that her sister ran away from her, Johanna asked the man which the girl was with to relay a message. After speaking further with him she found herself feeling weak. Having not eaten in a while, she collapsed in the undercity of Vienne. Luckily, two men found the unconscious Ludovar and took her to the hospital. Only bitten ankles made by Zin, her screowl, while she was protecting the young woman worried the two men.

 

Once Johanna came to, she thanked the men who saved her and they ended up meeting with a few more people who took the Ludovar to the Margraviate of Grodno, where she was fed. The girl then gave her goodbyes and set off on her trip once more; seeking refuge in a tree as she noted in her journal for her last question.

 

“Who ea want to be in life is me: Lady Johanna Josefina Ludovar, Adopted Daughter of Pyotr Ludovar and Sibylla Ludovar, Niece of the late Count of Otistadt: Johann Ludovar. Who ea want to be in life is someone of greatness! Ea want to learn things; music, writing, and so much more.”

 

With that she put her book away and slept for the night. She was doing her best to enjoy the last month she had as a Child.

As johanna prepares to leave oren and return home, her new friend masashi stops her and wishes to accompany her due to the roads being dangerous. Johanna agreed and they went off on their way as johanna would be writing in her travel journal for the last time. 

 

“Ea am Johanna Josefina ludovar. Ea am nie longer a child. Ea am a full grown adult. On this journey ea have learnt a lot about meaself. For example, Ea hate boiled fish and that ea have a breathing condition. But ea am thankful to the people ea was with on this journey. But ea have to admit, ea missed home quite some bit. Ea wish to thank adele for giving me this opportunity, and ea would like to thank Maciej and Masashi for saving me that day”
