What is the Grand Exchange?

The grand exchange is an ongoing auction house. Customers and Shareholders can post an item up for auction where it is held in-house. People can browse the list of items at their leisure and place a bid either with Yera Silveira (ewdrawings), Artano Silveira (nebulaicspectre), or writing in (and using the bid channel in discord). Occasionally, items will be chosen from the Grand Exchange and advertised in-person through auction events!

How do I bid/buyout?

2) Search through the list for an item you want to bid or buyout.

4) Head to the Grand Exchange Category, click the #Buy or Bidout Channel.

5) Place your bid/buyout following the template!

3) Fill-out the template for your auctioned item! 

4) Visit the SMS (Location Below) and place your item in the Auction Drop-Box or hand it to Yera Silveira (Ewdrawings), or Artano Silveira (Nebulaicspectre).

What is the SMS?

 

The Silver Merchant Sovereignty is a coalition of wealthy, ambitious and influential merchants. Status within such a Sovereignty is thus controlled by the amount of Minas, power and influence one has. As such it could be accurately stated as a meritocracy.

 

• Auctions; Sell your items at a monthly auction and earn potentially a week's worth of sales in a single night. Percentage of the profits made at the auction go towards the Silver Merchant Sovereignty, which in turn is fed back to you through Dividends.

• Tax & Rent Free Shop(s) for Shareholders.

• Support network; Major problems? Assassination attempts? Kingdom rulers giving you trouble? Money and support have been set aside to aid our titled Shareholders and members.

• Dividends handed out at Shareholder Meetings! (Cut of profits)

• Shareholder meetings to decide the Sovereignties direction.

DETAILS

 

Shares:

Individuals can join the Silver Merchant Sovereignty if they purchase a single share. The more shares that one buys, the higher percentage of the company's profits they are paid each month, depending on the released dividends. Equally, with certain quantities of shares bought, one can obtain greater perks and honourary titles that are bestowed upon them by the Silver Merchant Sovereignty.

• 1%; The buyer receives the title of Silver Merchant, Silver Grat’gin. The buyer receives 1% dividends (E.g. If the company earns 1000 minas that month, the shareholder receives 10 Minas).

• 5%; The buyer receives the title of Silver Merchant Baron(ess), Silver Vaton(ess). The shareholder receives 5% dividends (E.g. If the company earns 1000 Minas that month, the shareholder receives 50 minas).

• 10%; The buyer receives the title of Silver Trade Count(ess), Silver Co’tr(ine). The shareholder receives 10% dividends (E.g. If the company earns 1000 Minas that month, the shareholder receives 100 Minas).

• 15%; The buyer receives the title of Silver Prince(ss),  Silver Gran’Luxz(i). The shareholder receives 20% of dividends (E.g. If the company earns 1000 Minas that month, the shareholder receives 200 Minas).

 

Titles and Recognition:

With great power comes great responsibility - and street cred. As the company gains notoriety, its important shareholders' titles will hold greater value. After all, you weren't given your title because of nepotism; you didn't achieve it through luck - no, you earned it through hard work and a lot of Minas, showing your competence and business acumen.

 

Titled members of the Silver Merchant Sovereignty can request assistance from the rest of the Sovereignty, leveraging their position. An emergency meeting can be called to discuss pressing matters with a 100 Minas+ potential cost; after that, a vote can be called for Sovereignty Reserves to be spent on resolving the issue.

 

Sovereignty Reserves:

Input; 50% of all Silver Merchant Sovereignty profits will be filtered into the reserves. (E.g. If 1000 Minas are earned one month, 500 Minas will be split into the reserves. 500 Minas will be paid as dividends to the shareholders.)
