THE FUNERAL OF JAMES I

In the year of our Lord, 1938

 

 

TO THE SUBJECTS OF THE AAUNIC CROWN,

 

Though the kingdom celebrates the much-anticipated reign of our new king, our Royal family has, no doubt, been riddled with nothing but immense grief. As if the Lord Alba’s passing was not enough of a blow, the passing of His Majesty was a tragedy come too soon. Thus, the Royal Household sees fit to send our king, JAMES I, off into his next life with a funeral befitting of a man as great as him—he who served this nation of ours with nothing short of dignity, honor, and diligence.

 

All subjects of the kingdom are invited to congregate in the square of Whitespire, where his life and illustrious legacy shall be commended before all to behold. With this event, the year-long period of mourning shall draw to its conclusion, as we see the late Monarch into his transition to the next realm.
