George of House Glover 372 Share Posted October 16, 2011 The Oren Guard are here to defend Oren, and to keep the streets safe, the act as both the army and the police, if someone commits a crime they are arrested and charged. however the number of people who do not listen to the guard when they ask you to do something is stupid. whenever someone is in jail you can pretty much guarantee that there will be at least one thick idiot with nothing better to do, stating at the doors to the prison shouting about random stuff, corrupt guards and injustice. the prison is off limits to civilians, and note that the restricted part begins at the entrance to the tunnel leading to the prison, if you go down there you can be arrested and fined. another thing, hooded men constantly walk the streets of Oren. it is illegal to hide your face, or wear a hood in Oren, regardless of weather your undead or not. if the guard are arresting someone in a hood, please don't be an idiot and help them escape. if a person is innocent they will be released without charge after their trial, if they resist arrest they are automatically guilty and loose their right to a trial, further more if you help them escape then you share their fate, you also loose the right to a trail, even if you come quietly. the guard can choose what sentence you get, the maximum prison sentence is 20 mins(1 minecraft day) and the maximum fine is 2000 minas, you can be given both a prison sentence and a fine. if you do not have the money to pay the fine, you can ask others to pay it for you, using /tell ic your asking the guards to send birds to these people. all this time however you are kept in a cell. if you cannot pay the fine and no one loves you enough to pay it for you, then the guards can execute you, with the exception of being or assisting undead, you will always have a option of fine and prison sentence. once a guard cuffs you, it is both your hands and feet, you cant fight when your in cuffs, nor can you break them or run away in them, you must follow the person who is holding them, the only way out is for someone else to open them for you, if this it is not the person holding the chains they have to roll against the person holding them. if you escape another way its power gaming. your cuffs don't just vanish when you enter a cell, you need a guard to remove them. this is simply my rage against the idiots and thick people who think they can get away with anything in Oren. time to listen to the guard, they are there for your own good 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is why, your always getting bad complaints, they dont listen to you, because you handle situations poorly, really poorly. Maybe giving some Guards Dicipline would help. "Kyle, Warden of Malinor" "May I come in?" = Me "Hahaha, what is a Elf doing here, No trees in the city" = Stupid Guard. "Pardon, Can I just enter. *Enter the gate* "Have fun Pointy Ears" = Stupid Guard. Im sick of Guards being disrespectful, they pick the fights you dont see that. Valgt 1 Share Posted October 16, 2011 From what I've seen you guards don't COMMAND respect, if people shout things about shout things about power or bag on the prison doors you just tell them to leave and warn them like a billion times that you will arrest them. You've already warned them once, either through signs or common knowledge long before they do that stuff so if they back talk you, just slap some cuffs on them and arrest them. If they fight back then they're defying Oren law and are basically dead meat. If you want some respect don't just ask for it, grow a spine and take it.
