We write this summons to you not without ineligible reasoning, during the Heartlander crisis you had taken part in the fighting alongside your rightful Queen, Adalia. In your pursuit of defending your family a pretender arose to claim the throne of Petra. Your son, Paul Alexander had declared himself King of Petra in an usurping manner and during the report of the battle that took place after his proclaimation, he was defeated in battle and allegedly killed by your person and his corpse desecrated, we demand that you present yourself for a trial within the walls of our Holy See to undergo the proceedings of spiritual law. We will hold you in court for the greatest sin save for blasphemy, kinslaying and the desceration of a Canonist corpse. We hope that you show yourself to our tribunal with your defense.

The debacle that has taken place amid the Heartlander Strife, one which began with the burning of my home Courteis Hale by Aaunic citizens for fabricated reasons, is not something that I can ignore any longer. This has been affront to my safety, in which no one in Aaun has been held accountable for; my granddaughter, and several students and faculty were killed in the fire, yet there has been no comment from Aaunic leadership or offer for restitution to restore my home, or an apology for the losses that occurred. These people wish to see me dead, and while I am old, I still have a many good years left in me.

 

It is for these reasons that I wish to bring a retinue of my own guards, to see me from point A to point B, and to protect throughout, so as to not be bothered on the roads or during the time of the trial. Given the actions displayed by Aaun's highest leadership and those meant to govern with equality and justice at their forefront, I hope that you may grant me this, to ease my mind during the travel and the time of the trial, for I wish nothing more than to appear before you on that day, safe and sound.

I do not know why you lament for answers with me regarding the burning of your home, I am not the Aaunic Government, Marnan Brigade or the Alstion throne. Your worry for safety is well within our attention, you shall be allowed to bring three guards with you as escort and whom will remain outside the courtroom. Any man or entity which seeks to see you captured or harmed before and during the proceeding trial will be swiftly excommunicated and your person will be safe from any harmful endeavors by our own Holy Knights during the trial.
