Clarification of Claims.

This letter was sent to the Rex of The Khanate along with a copy sent to the Thains of Dunwen.

To the Rex of the Khanate,
Do pardon me if I may have inaccurately titled you.

I write to you to address what appears to be some confusion regarding your claims and demands towards the Shiredom and its people. You mention a location that does not exist in the rolling hills of Dunwen. However, if I may offer a reasonable assumption, it seems you are referring to Aen’Aeloria, which would then be my land—granted to me and my people through the generous support of the halflings.

Another point of confusion in your claims is the assertion that the Shire is "protecting" Vikelians. Could you kindly clarify who these individuals are? Surely you do not intend to direct your weapons at my people, as we have never declared ourselves to be Vikelians nor worshipped the daemon Bal'lance.

I believe some clarity on this matter would benefit all parties. My people once purchased land within the Queendom of Vikela, with the hope of establishing a home. However, when you and your kin waged war against Vikela, I, as any prudent leader would, relocated my people to ensure their safety, as that conflict was unrelated to us. We are a free people, unbound by conflicts in which we have no stake.

At no point have I or my people identified ourselves as Vikelians. We are Aelorians, ruled by my house, the House of Adiler—a Talonnii with roots tracing back to the founding of Minitz, and resided in the Commonwealth of Petra for nearly two generations. I seek no conflict with your kin and trust this situation arises from a simple misunderstanding. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, I would be honored to meet with you in person.
