To the Honored Citizens of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan,

 

By the blood of my forefathers and the stone of our mountain halls, I, Alaric Grimgold, write this letter to you, my kin, to swear upon the anvil that birthed us and the forge that shaped us. I swear by the Grand Kingdom of Urguan herself—the beating heart of our people, the unshakable stone beneath our feet—that I shall not lead any schism within the Temple, nor will I raise a blade or banner against our kingdom.

 

Urguan, the radiant beacon of Dwarven glory, whose legacy stretches from the deepest reaches of the earth to the highest peaks of the world above, is too sacred, too enduring for me to ever harm. From her veins we mine our gold, and in her heart we find our strength. To betray her would be to betray the very soul of our people, a crime beyond treason—an affront to the ancestors themselves.

 

I have been wrongfully accused by those who misunderstand my devotion to this great kingdom. Yet let there be no mistake: I am not seeking a schism, nor to be an enemy of Urguan. My heart beats for the prosperity and glory of our nation, for the unyielding flame of our unity, and for the strength of our people’s bond.

 

Swore to by our forefathers, though there are shadows that fall upon the mountain, the mountain itself remains steadfast. Urguan is everlasting—her greatness is not diminished by the fleeting storms of politics or the ambitions of Dwarves. My loyalty is to Urguan alone, and no force, no matter how tempestuous, will shake my devotion to her enduring legacy. I will neither march an army nor stir division against the kingdom I cherish with all my soul.

 

This letter shall be my unshakable oath, as strong as the steel we wield, as pure as the gold we mine. I stand with Urguan, as I always have and as I always will, until the end of my days.
