11th Conseille Municipal Meeting Notes

11th Conseille Municipal Meeting Note. Year 1995

Present were Bourgmestre Nicolas Wittenbach,  Conseiller Valerie Auclair and Conseiller Caterina Adelina. 
The meeting was started with welcoming formalities as this is the first meeting of the third elected Municipal Council, welcoming re-elected and new members as well as introducing them to the works of the Conseille Municipale. 

 

The first order of buisness was the updates on banditry and raids as well as discussions on the ongoing war. several reports were discussed and ideas on improuving chambery defencability were discussed, among which: upgrading walls, sharpening the cliffs, making home windows breakin-proof and adding a town bell to signal for help in case of attacks. All these points were agreed upon and to be implement as soon as possible. In an amendum the whole council commendet the Mages of the Redquill College for having voluntered to support chambery in its defence during these difficult time as well as for having voluntered to join Petra armed forces under the banners of chambery in this Holy war. 

 

The second topic of discussion was the Ordinance of Saint Pius Church. This Ordinance will outline the prevention as well as the testing of Darkspawn and other dark creatures who only wish bad omen upon Citizen and the city of Chambery. The main topic of contention was the way in which testing is done, since unfortunatly many testings have been done in a rough manner which has caused much issues around town and most certainly does not give our Holy Mother church a good image. Concerns about the new Ordinance were discussed, mostly to ensure the citizens being tested wellbeing is safeguarded while the peoples doing the testing are also ensured to be safe in case they do uncover a dark spawn. In addition testing would be expanded not only for darkspawn but including all others type of dark creature hiding in other forms. Everyone present then agreed on the new Ordinance and it was passed with all present.

 

In closing statements all present were taked to think about new ways to improuve the city as well as think about new events to take place in the next years.
