Kingdom of Balian 730 Share Posted October 20, 2024 A Call for Election 25th of Godfrey’s Triumph of 132 B.A With the Passing of the Edict of Commune Civis, the citizenry must elect their first Senators of the new Senate of Balian. The first session of the Senate shall comprise seven Senators, of whom one shall be elected to be the Speaker of the Senate. It shall last eight years before re-election, upon which the Senate shall be dissolved. Applications must be sent in within two Saint’s Days. The Election shall run at the of the Saint’s week with a Rally and Debate earlier on in the Saint’s week. To run for Senate you must fulfill the qualifications set out by the Edict of Commune Civis, all must be fulfilled: -Be at least 16 years of age. -Have residences at an address in Balian. -Be in good standing with the laws of the Kingdom. -Must follow the Canonist faith. -Be a Citizen of Balian -Filled out the Census -Must not be a sitting Duana member -Can not be a current Peer of the Crown. Further information shall be found upon the of Edict Commune Civis. Register to Vote here!
