WHISPERS BELOW THE CAPITAL

Silently blood dripped into the floor beneath a mass of man. Whisperings abounded that fetid place, the place where it all commenced; that insatiable plot.

 

Slowly the God Render wiped his blood unto the Dracanium Blade which was beset before him as it hardened to that strength of what begot pure carbarum.

 

“Until I find it…” the whispers echoed. The souls bound in that cavern, ten thousand dead pagans. Canonist, Elf, Uruk, worshippers of dark and light alike; he bound them all the same.

 

“The Great Hunt.” Said he, their afterlife a sham, now would they serve eternal, a power source for the greatest Conqueror Braevos had known.

 

Betrayed by those who had promised eternal friendship, the enemies of righteousness now polluted the lands his allies claimed as their demesne. Their eyes were blinded by hatred and blasphemy- the man did not kill for these things, he killed for something greater than mortal wishes.

 

Turning back to his entourage, those who followed him to death and crusade.

 

“Find it… that thing… that blade: The Slayer.”

 

None would be spared, the commencing of The Great Hunt…
