Bill to Implement Medical Courses in The Regiment

The Regiment is who we rely on for our nation’s defense. While the Regiment does indeed efficiently respond to disasters that occur in our nation, they are also the only party to deal with the aftermath of such occurrences. 

 

This does not just present itself as a concern solely for the denizens outside of the regiment, but also for members within it. Just as we see many casualties to regular citizens, we also see just the same with the amount of soldiers who wind up in the clinic.

While this can be written off as a matter solely tied to the clinicians of Balian, the truth is that the clinic can not always be present with missions that occur outside of our cities walls. What of Lumbridge? What of sieges on our allies that we are called to defend? What of darkspawn incursions and other defensive’s of the like held within the remote reaches of our lands? It is with these matters taken into consideration that courses covering basic first aid and other essential procedures, such as suturing, should be required for members of the regiment to undergo.

As such, I motion  for the Implementation of Combat Medic courses into the Regiment’s training curriculum.
