For the many that know me, it is a known fact that I worry of my own tongue. I worry that I do not speak the way I should, the way that my own family speaks to peers, to diplomats, to royalty. However, I understand what worries me may also be a strength, as shown by the many beloved friends I hold dear. It is for them, the citizens that make up our beloved Kingdom of Balian, that I, Johanna Henriette Vuiller, shall be running for Senate.

 

All will be kept short and concise. We all are busy people. 

 

 What do I want for Balian?

 

Regiment Upgrades

Whilst The Regiment of St. Lothar has recently been undergoing great changes, I wish to direct more funds towards the regiment. Said funds would go towards special weaponry, allowing us to stock up on blades of specific materials, and potions to further aid against growing aggression from darkspawn.

 

Balianese Markets

It is clear that our markets have been lacking in recent years, and this shopper would like to see its return to greatness. Balian shall actively advertise our markets to gain business throughout the realm, and work towards hosting festivals to showcase the craftsmanship of our locals.

 

Skilled Workers

Currently as it stands, our beloved Kingdom lacks a number of skilled traders. Men to work the forge or enchant weaponry have found home in the walls of our neighbors. Should these skilled workers find certain tax breaks, perhaps they would happily flock to our warm waters. 

 

The Roads

As of late, the southern half of the realm has seen a rise of Darkspawn activity. Many of our own have experienced attacks, and because of this, the safety of our citizens should be paramount. Citizens should be educated on various kinds of Darkspawn and their weaknesses so that one may be better equipped to defend themselves.

 

Here lie my woes, ones which I shall strive to alleviate for the sake of our Kingdom. I ask our Balianese citizens to allow me to do such.
