Hello my fellow citizens of Chambery!

I hope you all have a good day and thank you all for being such amazing people!

It is Bourgemestre Elections again, our now outgoing young Bourgemestra Melisa Vanfer Tor has decided to abdicate.
It a valid choice to learn and see that sometimes that your goals change, and see that you want to do something else
in life. I hope we can wish her now good luck on her new path in life and thank her for good work.

Now we citizens have to decide again  how we want to shape our path forward and I offer that we make it together!
As potential Bourgmestra I want to focus on ideas, that would bring new wind into our town, also on ones that
will make out community stronger.

Here comes the list of things I want to focus on:

Focus to strengthen our community:

1. Community Spirit

• Inclusive Atmosphere: Foster a welcoming environment where residents and newcomers alike feel at home and supported.
• Citizens Meetings: Host a regular citizens meetings to talk about current topics, to hear out what worries and talk about possible plans and solutions. Also to celebrate local talent and strengthen bonds between citizens, guilds, and leadership.

2. Promoting Arts, Culture and Education

• Cultural Events: Host communal regular gatherings ether organized by town or privately by citizens like music plays, storytelling nights, and tavern evenings to celebrate and nurture talents.
• Support for Artists: Invite playwrights and performers from across the Commonwealth and over to enrich the city's cultural scene and perform in our theater.
• Research and Teaching: Increase funding for projects and the teaching task at Redquill College, the National Geographic Society, and the local museum. And promote their work.
• Youth Engagement: Provide resources and spaces for children to explore arts and hobbies, ensuring their growth and creativity.

3. Boosting Commerce and Artisanship

• Tourism and Promotion: Revive and expand the Tourism Bureau to highlight Chambery’s arts, events, and unique products to visitors from all lands. And attract new kind and talented people into Chambery.
• Business Support: Reduce taxes for artisans and entrepreneurs, and simplify procedures for starting new businesses.
• Economy Forum: Opening a semi-regular Economy and Commerce Forum, where artisans, businesses and traders can meet and talk about the economy and other important topics.
• Port Expansion: Enhance and expand our port facilities to encourage trade and ensure smooth flow of goods and visitors.

4. Safety and Security

• Community Protection: Strengthen the town guard and the collaboration with our allies to ensure safety, with firm but fair responses to wrongdoing. And organize combat and crisis response training for citizens in collaboration with our allies.
