The streamlining of information is among one of the many coveted virtues of the Hileia'evaran. It is the wielding of coordination, communication, and effective dialogue that drives success, that which not only emboldens the dignity of our esteemed soldiers, but the city they are beholden to protect. Thus, it’s the necessity for this nature of discipline that the Reports Archive of the Evaran is issued. This archive will serve as a logbook for all recorded incidents, encounters, and law violations within the Princedom of Cauróst. Information within this ledger is considered confidential, only to be shared among fellow Evaran or trusted Caurósi denizens.

Types of Reports

Reports are divided into four classes: Activity, Incident, Crime, and Restricted. Activity and Incident reports may be issued at one's discretion, and are not mandatory. Crime and Restricted reports are mandatory at all times.

 

Class A. Activity Reports

Activity reports are issued for matters pertaining to internal operations and mobilization within the Hileia'evaran. Although not all events of activity will warrant a report, notable events are to be logged under this category. Examples include, patrols, skirmishes, escorting royals, guarding meetings, or other isolated activity among the Evaran.

 

Class B. Incident Reports

Incident reports are issued for matters such as civil disputes in the absence of punishment or reprimand under the law. Examples include, noise complaints, anti-social conduct, suspicious behavior, or other non-threatening behaviors.

 

Class C. Crime Reports

Crime reports are issued for matters involving criminal activity and distributed punishment as stated under the law. Examples include, assault, theft, vandalism, or other actions in violation of the law. 

 

Class D. Restricted Reports

Restricted reports are issued for confidential cases, such as encounters with notorious, high-profile creatures, beings, individuals, and local deaths. These are issued in private statements and forwarded directly to the High Prince.

Example Report

 

Name of Report: Petty Bandit

Type of Report: Class C

Date & Time: 10th of the Deep Cold, 220 S.A.

Location: The outskirts of Eldwyn

Involved Persons & Witnesses: Myself, Avagis, Ellathor, Raelwyn, Meracache, Leithril.

Summary of Events: It was early in the morning that those of the Princedom were called to the defense of a traveler reported to be under assault by the common bandit, to which we rode northward and successfully subdued the marauder after a brief chase. During such, he had invoked the name of the Cross-slinger bandit, presumably an ally of his. After bringing him back to the city, it was decided his belongings would be seized as reprimand for his crimes, only after a vicious beating from Meracache. Afterward, we had sought to release him, with the approval of the victim in light of no significant harm having been done. Unfortunately, the bandit made the bold decision to attempt to attack myself, Ellathor, and the victim when we attempted to permit him to leave with his life. Thus, he was cut down justly.

Name of Report: Banditry Assault

Location: Outskirts of Cauróst
 

Involved Persons & Witnesses: Naazeri, Tilruir'tir.
 

Summary of Events: South-East by the edges of Cauróst, Naazeri was approached by three human riders seeking for any goods to steal. Unsatisfied with any findings, one of them fired a bolt to her leg before the trio had raced off. Tilruir'tir was fortunate enough to be nearby to witness the event and carry the victim to Eldwyn's Clinic to be treated further. Bells rung in tow shortly after to alert the citizenry, a quick party was formed by Prince Galahad for an impromptu search but soon returned with zero findings.

A deformed tan man with gray hair and beard in overalls(?), another named 'John Oren', wore a suit of armor donned a red, blue and white mask. Then the third less identified, wearing a suit of armor.

Name of Report: Odd Cultist Altar

Date & Time: 10:00 on the 10th of Sun's smile, 237 SA

 

Location: Northern of Caurost on the peak of a mountain

 

Involved Persons & Witnesses: Traskaath O'hrolo, Mahte, Zathros, Ava, Nym, Isilmelir

 

Summary of Events : We were informed of an altar at the top of the mountain North of Caurost, where blood mixed with the water that flowed through the cracks of the stone. There were many rocks and pillars surrounded by candles, while a skull of an unknown creature rested in the middle of the altar. There was also a pedestol that showed this was a place of gathering. No more details were discovered. The guards of Alba were also informed of this place.

Name of Report: Thief and STalker of Praeven'tir

 

Type of Report: Class C

 

Date & Time: 10th of the Sun's smile 238 SA

 

Location: Caurost city, Praeven'tir Barracks

 

Involved Persons & Witnesses: Zathros, Aytheln, Call, Lakiel, Mahte

 

Summary of Events: A high elf named Omen broke into the Praeven'tir barracks, stole hand book and a book on Blood magics as well as some small items. Threatened a civilian with a crossbow for witnessing his acts of thievery. Kept several notes on Praeven'tir members, most prevalent being Ellathor and Ava. They seemed to be taking notes of their everyday duties. Possible they are working with one other person, as they refused to unlock a chest when confronted at home camp. They were killed in the barrack cells after refusing to give more information when asked of their motives. A book and another note were found by Evangald while conducting an investigation on a suspiscious building in a house in Caurost but it seemed they were squating.

Name of Report: Demon Attack

Location:Caras Siol

Involved Persons & Witnesses: Maeth Galdissiel, Althanis, Leithril, Vir, Galahad Ilumrin, Asano, Yvrien and Isilmelire Acal’Turrii

 

Short Summary of Events: Detailed Below.

 

Two demons rode in and out of the demon on horseback before a few denizens attempted to halt them. One of which, a ginger, was halted as the horse-riding demon hit them with a warmhammer before riding further down the stairs. 

 

In an attempt to block their exit, I positioned myself at the city exit in the hopes that my body could be used as a shield. In response, the one demon attempted to behead me before riding towards Asano, where they were dismounted and cornered at the gates. This is where Galahad, Vir, Asano, Leithril, Yvrien, and myself took a more active part in the execution of one beast and the capture of the other. Maeth was left to tend to the injured, Vir, who sustained injuries to his torso, and Leithril, temporarily.

 

Yvrien and myself dragged the beast to a cell where he bound their hands in chains and I removed anything of note they could attack with. Althanis readied his sword and wit before the demon woke and began to verbally insult him, which caused the Diraar to bicker before I requested he leave.

 

Soon after, Leithril and Asano found their way into the cell, but due to ill-preparation on behalf of myself, we had not removed the beast's armor or chained them to the bed. Before much could be drawn, outside of a name, the beast attacked and was impaled.

Short Summary of Events: 

Maeth spotted three jesters on the road that turned when they discovered the gates were down. Upon ringing the bell, she returned to her station to keep watch before I brought her along on a patrol. We went from the  city to just outside of Rittensburg before returning. None were spotted along the road.

 

During our travels, we wandered upon a forest very similar to the one that neighbors our city. It would be wise to return with others to see if anything is lurking within.

Short Summary of Events: 

 

The Sanctum's bell was rang due to an attack near the city, Leithril and Arahan informed us of it, we were too late to intervene and as such a patrol was formed to see if anything lingered. Maeth, stayed behind to tend the gates, while Aurelia, Althanis & Edwin came along. We found two maehr along the way and told them to hasten their path to the city.

 

Outside of warning Rittensburg and checking the Viridian Enclave, little more could be done. We returned to the city.

Short Summary of Events: 

 

On request of Leithril, we were to remove two citizens from the city for disturbing the peace. The first of which refused, only to leave, and the second fled to the back of the city where we had to force them from the abode of Varzith. While we were in her abode, the maehr refused to vacate, demanding an explanation. We eventually had to guide her out of the city, as she refused to leave, despite the homeowner's disdain towards the situation.

 

Althanis was to guide her from our city to another as she claimed to have recently been the victim of torture. Upon her leaving the abode, he escorted her to city gates and presumably to wherever  it was she could go. Maeth stayed behind to speak with Varzith.

Name of Report: Hunt for the Vampyr Cohort, Edwin

Short Summary of Events: Detailed Below.

 

Holy Ser Corswain, Knight of the Empire and honored guest of Galahad Ilumrin, found Edwin within city walls upon his visit and demanded his immediate culling, born from the suspicion of aligning and collaborating with dark forces. Aduiladyr, Yvrien & Althanis sought to defend him from this, unknowing of the instruction supplied prior by the Prince, Galahad Ilumrin. 

 

At the Prince’s command, we stepped down from our defense and initiated a nationwide lockdown and man-hunt throughout the city. Our search led us through the roads, docks, sewers, library, forge, throne room and my personal abode. Nigh to the climax, once our local search had ended, we collected near the tavern and clinic for further orders from his highness. Those present for the inner city search were Yvrien, Aduiladyr, Avarellus, Josephine, Carnissëa, Turin, Althanis & Maeth.

 

Following this, he questioned Josephine Valkrum on Edwin’s whereabouts, to which she claimed that he had vanished from sight near the aforementioned area of the throne room and forge. After such a conclusion, we were ordered to search the nearby roads and adjacenting highways, to which we departed by way of steed. Those present for the outskirts search were Avarellus, Aduiladyr, Maeth, Sulcelia, & Althanis.

 

We rode through the Cemetery, Deepwoods, Festival Grounds, old campground ruins, Paladins keep, little village, the Prince’s private residence, Annex & the main road leading to a ruined hovel. Our  futile search concluded in the city.

Involved Persons & Witnesses: Mali'ame (on duty), Ser Maxwell, Ragthanatos (Valah), Maeth, Yvrien, Surion
 

Short Summary of Events: A wounded Valah, later identified by Mali'ame as Ragthanatos, approached our gate. He answered questions asked but only after being pressed. Ser Maxwell saw to his injuries within the gate house as the rally bell was rung. Yvrien and Maeth responded quickly to the bell to find the scene. Maxwell assisted Maeth in getting the Valah to the clinic where his wounds were treated by the timing of a Cleric of Tahariae, Surion

Name of Report: Wild Beast Culling

Location: North-West mountains, Caurost

Short Summary of Events :

 

A squadron of the Everan confirmed by Diraar Althanis, Diraar Vesryn, Taelurir Maeth and Taelurir Daevos in company of two visitors, were mobilized under instructions of Naelurir Ellathor Vanary on recent slaughters of wildlife and stock animals. 

In order to preserve peace and safety in the territory, the beasts were tracked and found just north-west of the pass from the city’s bridge, in a burrow surrounded by carcasses of animals. 

The pack of the creatures descended onto the rank and were swiftly cut down. There were two injured in the attack, Adrian Greye and Ser Maxwell, however they were swiftly seen to health. 

Seven of their number were culled and none remained or escaped from the scrap. The beasts, were a combined form of shark and hound, remain unidentified by name.
