Ironically, you are the person least to blame for the state Celia’nor is in. Yet you were the heir to your mother.

 

I never expected it to end this way when the other Vinters and I installed your mother to the throne. I could’ve claimed it for myself many times over the past century. I let two chances pass by. I do not care for power; if I would  - I would have seized it. But I did not do it.

 

You might be surprised to read my words, as I had left to Númendil ten years ago and then to Haelun’or. But I come here to you with this letter as an offer of a last dignity. Even though I believe what has happened has dishonored the path Ivarielle and that Celia’nor should cease to exist, I still hold some love for the people that remain. There is one harsh truth you must come to admit:

 

There is no saving Celia’nor.
 

I could list all the wrongs that have been committed against the many peoples of Aevos. Veletz. The Dwarves. Númendil. I could list the wrongs committed against the people of Celia’nor that prompted its depopulation. But you know that just as well as I do.

 

There is no saving Celia’nor. 

 

So what do I offer? To surrender the Principality of Celia’nor to me unconditionally; So did I, in turn, may unconditionally surrender to the Holy League, many of those I call friends: Like Anorhil, Valindra, or Callahan. Will they spare Celia’nor? Unlikely. Will they grant the People of Celia’nor some dignity if it is I who surrenders Celia’nor to them, someone they have fought with? Likely. Will I let Raguel burn down the Capital? I am considering it. There are only two certainties: The dwarves will forever hate everyone who was ever associated with Celia’nor, and that

 

There is no saving Celia’nor.

 

Should you deny my offer, I will do absolutely nothing. I am having a great time in Númendil and Haelun’or. I recently made a pretty Golem for one of their Princesses, in the colors of old Barrowtown. She liked it! I will probably go back to crafting and enchanting. 

 

But if you want me to try to save what breadcrumbs there are to save, do as I suggested.
