In the heart of the crypt, under the watchful eyes of dark stone carvings, the flicker of torches dances against towering shelves filled with ancient, dust-covered tomes. Thorim Blackheart, gazes out over a room of endless shelves. The air is thick with the weight of forgotten knowledge. Ulfin stands, his fingers brushing the spine of an old book, as though searching for some hidden truth.

"The Black Sepulchre is not merely a tomb. It is a sanctuary. A place for those who seek beyond the limitations of the living. A library, yes, but it is far more than that. It is a repository of wisdom that transcends death itself."

"A library? But... you’ve always spoken of it as a place for the dead to rise. For those who live beyond the confines of flesh. How can knowledge thrive in such a place?"

"Knowledge is not confined to the living, Ulfin. It is not bound by the fleeting breath of life. Wisdom, the true kind, exists beyond that. The Black Sepulchre is where we can preserve what the world seeks to forget. In its halls, the past is never lost, and the future is always within reach. You see, death—death doesn’t silence knowledge. It frees it."

"So, this... this is a place where those who’ve passed can share their wisdom with the living. A haven for those who are willing to listen—even after death. A place where the soul’s journey doesn’t end with a grave, but with the continuation of thought, of discovery."

"Exactly. The Black Sepulchre is where knowledge doesn’t die. The dead, once they’ve shed their mortal shells, will be free to share their experiences, their insights, their truths. And those who seek that wisdom, those brave enough to walk through its doors, will gain something the living can only dream of. Eternal understanding. The knowledge of the ages, untouched by time."

"And we... we will guide them, won’t we? We, the keepers of the Sepulchre. We will protect the knowledge and allow the worthy to find it."
