Earlier in the process of the prosecution of the latest world war, an attack was perpetrated upon the Holy See by forces of the so-called ‘Horenic Covenant’. In response to this, the Curia saw fit to declare all the warlords of the belligerent states to be excommunicated with immediate effect, as it was believed at the time that the operation was a joint ‘Horenic Covenant’ military operation. However, upon further independent investigation, it was determined that not all members of the Covenant were informed of the attack prior to its execution.

 

Specifically, when we approached Erwin I of Reinmar, he asserted that his forces were not present, that he was not informed of the attack, and that his state’s name was tied to the attack without prior consultation. Given our findings that nearly every soldier that was identifiable was wearing Haenseti armor, and the public condemnation that Reinmar expresses for this heinous act, we believe that the excommunication of Erwin I was performed in error. It would be incorrect to say that he was guilty of any wrongdoing, and it is clear to all that Reinmar would never perpetrate an act so craven as to attack a church. 

 

Let it be known that the excommunication of Erwin I is ANNULLED, to be considered to have never happened.
