The start of a new beginning

To the new generation that will be cleansed, to our neighbors near and far, and to all who bear witness

Let this missive serve as both solemn reflection and unwavering promise.

The once-proud halls of Celia’nor stand quiet. The Ibarellan family, once central to the governance of our realm, has withdrawn without a word or farewell. The High Council, once entrusted with stewardship, honor, and vigilance, has dissolved into silence. What remains is not ruin, but a resilient people, steadfast and courageous, calling not for rulers, but for responsibility. Not for dominance, but for dignity.

It is in answer to that call not for myself, but for all of you that I, Siofra Adiler, step forward, not with ambition in my heart, but with duty on my shoulders. Not to claim a throne, but to safeguard the voice of a people too long unheard.

“Power is not taken, it is given in moments when others abandon it.”

With the support of the remaining Diraar and the loyal citizenry, I hereby declare the formation of a Transitional Regency, a temporary body not meant to reign, but to protect, listen, and rebuild alongside the people. Until a new and representative government may arise, I shall serve not as ruler, but as caretaker, guided by the will of the community and those who have remained devoted to our shared home.

To assist in this undertaking, I name the following to a Temporary Council, composed of individuals whose commitment to unity and service cannot be questioned:

• Iris Soltee, a steadfast heart and tireless advocate of the people,
• Mirathen Thalendir, whose loyalty lies in peace, not power,
• Elgras Soltee and Aganar Kalgan, protectors of the people and defenders of our values.

Together, we pledge to govern transparently, to consult openly, and to act accountability. We do not stand above the people; we stand among you, in service.

 

“No nation can stand until it confronts the truth of what it has done and who it has harmed.”

 

Let us speak plainly: Celia’nor, as it stood, committed grievous wrongs both within, through neglect and misgovernance, and beyond its borders, most notably against Healun’or.

In pursuit of justice, I hereby affirm: should I be confirmed as the next leader, I will bend the knee to Healun’or and fully accept all terms they set forth. That journey has already begun, marked by the payment of 1,500 minas as a gesture of sincerity and commitment. The remainder of the agreement will be published in due course by Healun’or. This is not surrender, it is a step toward accountability and a future built on trust, not fear.

As for Helious and Cerulia, I extend humility and recognition. They shall be granted independence, free to govern themselves and to claim titles of their choosing. Though our political ties shall end, I hope our bonds of mutual respect and peace endure.

“What was built in secrecy must be undone in the light of truth.”

Therefore, in accordance with the will of the people and in honor of our commitments to peace, I hereby declare:

“That which was built in shadow must be torn down in light.”

And now we come to the crux of this missive.

By mutual agreement, by the will of the people, and by the terms reached with Healunl’or, we declare:

CELIA’NOR, AS IT WAS KNOWN, IS HEREBY DISSOLVED.

his dissolution is not a defeat, but a renal. We cast aside the broken architecture of legacy and dynasty. We mourn no crown, no crest, but instead rejoice in the chance to build anew.

The Ibarellan family shall henceforth hold no title, no land, and no position of leadership. They may reside within the nation, but they will bear no influence over its governance. Their era is ended, and their legacy will serve as a lesson, not a foundation.

And to the Royarch: if you believe another is more suited to lead, do not cloak your intentions behind closed doors. Step forward. Address the people. Let them judge for themselves. We will no longer abide by leadership born of secrecy. Let all who would guide this nation do so in the light of day.

This is not the end.

From this moment, we begin again. A new nation shall rise, not shaped by bloodline or conquest, but by shared purpose, mutual respect, and the voices of its people. This future is yours to shape. Let your voices ring louder than ever. Let your dreams be the blueprints of our tomorrow.

To the citizens: you are not forgotten. You are the heart of what is to come.

To Healun’or and Cerulia, we extend our hands not as adversaries, but as neighbors, hopeful of friendship.

To the world: do not remember us for how we fell, but for how, together, we chose to rise with open hearts, steady hands, and the courage to begin anew.

 

From these smoldering remains, we shall rise. A new nation, formed not by bloodlines, but by shared vision. A realm that listens to its people. One that seeks harmony with its neighbors and justice within its own borders.

To all citizens: I offer you this solemn promise: I will not lead from a throne, but walk beside you on the path forward. I will not speak over your voices, but ensure they are heard in every hall. I will not rebuild the walls of a broken nation but help rise the foundation of a home we all belong to, in every choice i make your safety, your dignity and your future shall be my guide, this new dawn will not be shaped be legacy or lineage, but by listening, by learning and by labor shared in common purpose, let no one be forgotten, let no voice go unheard. Let no wound remain hidden, we rise, not as subjects but as a people united by hope. 

To Helious and Cerulia: We extend a hand in humility and in hope. May this new beginning mark the start of true kinship.

To the Grand Kingdom of Urguan: Should I be entrusted with the mantle of leadership, let my first act of good faith towards you be this: I pledge to return the land of Gotrek of Urguan. This gesture is not made of strategy but ut of respect for history, for rightful stewardship, and for the pursuit of honest diplomacy. Let this act serve as a foundation for renewed trust between our peoples, and a signal that the future we build will be one rooted not in conquest, but in justice and mutual respect. 

To the world beyond: Do not remember us for our fall, but for how we rose from it.

The Former Counciloress reads the missive with a sigh from her new home "May the stars guide them and help them prosper...I however will no longer be apart of this doomed nation. I do wish you luck though llirs,  you'll need it"  she then placed the missive down and went on with her life
