he tradition of celebrating a polity’s heir is as old as man itself. For the successors of mankind have oft been lauded as they cross the threshold of majority and assume their standing as a full and legal member of society. This tradition is not lost to Alba, but as our beloved Duchy begins to walk within her infancy, we spare no expense in showering our budding rose, Prince Edward the younger, who GOD  has kept till eighteen, and we shall pray that long life may be granted upon him.

To mark this most joyous occasion, let it be known across the bounds of Burgundy and beyond, that all—nobles and goodfolk—are welcome to join in celebration. Under the vaulted halls of Morvelyn, there shall be feasting without end and revelry fit for the annals. Let music rise and goblets brim, as we honor not only our son of Alba, but the promise of a future. Come, one and all, and bear witness to the turning of time, as Prince Edward the younger takes his place as a man within the highest ranks of the sons of Canondom.

I T I N E R A R Y

1. The Presentation of the Ducal Household

Attendees shall convene in Morvelyn’s Great Hall where the Duke and Duchess of Alba shall present their household in its entirety before the subjects of the Ducal coronet. 

2. Feast & Bestowal of Gifts

Food shall be set out for people to take and choose as they please. In tandem, Edward Cecilius shall accept gifts and petitions from the people of Alba.  

3. Dancing and Revelry

The people of Alba are invited to take part in a dance alongside the Ducal Household.
