As the Aevosian Medical Coalition expands in numbers and renown, a formal structure has been established to guide our mission: To provide healing, knowledge, and care to all realms and peoples. With this growth comes the introduction of an official Healer’s Oath, a defined ranking system, and symbols of honor for those who walk the path of the healer be they mundane physicians, spiritual shamans, voidal mages, or the nature-bound druids.

 

All initiates, regardless of creed or origin, shall take this solemn vow before they don the healer's brooch:

I vow to wield the art of healing with compassion, wisdom, and integrity.

I shall do no harm, nor shall I seek power through the suffering of others.

I will treat all who come before me without prejudice be they a peasant, a noble, a soldier or sinner.

I swear to ever learn, to ever teach, and to offer my hands in service to life.

This is my oath, as a healer of the Coalition.

These brooches are awarded to those who meet specific achievements in their healing journey. They are to be worn with pride, as visible signs of dedication, knowledge, and service.
 

The Golden Lotus
For the Licensed Medic

Worn by those who have mastered the mundane (non-magical) art of healing, apothecaries, surgeons, herbalists, and field medics. This golden brooch reflects discipline, care, and studied expertise.
 

The Amethyst Orchid
For the Arcane or Spiritual Healer

Granted to those who have delved into the magical or spiritual forms of healing voidal mages, druids, shamans, clerics, and more. This shimmering orchid is a mark of otherworldly knowledge and mastery.

The Emerald Lily
For the masters

The second rarest and most prestigious brooch. Given only to those recognized not only for their skill, but for their leadership and service to the Coalition. Holders of this brooch often oversee major healing institutions such as hospitals, sanctuaries, or field clinics.


The Citrine Sunflower
For the coalition's representatives


Worn by the Head doctor and his two most trusted followers. This brooch takes the form of a radiant marigold, its golden petals surrounding a polished citrine at its center. A symbol of loyalty, dedication, and the light of compassion, it marks those who serve as the right hand of leadership entrusted with great responsibility, representing the guild, and guiding others in times of need. This is the highest honor within the Coalition.

The Head
The symbolic leader of the Coalition. While not an authoritarian ruler, the Head Healer represents the highest standards of knowledge, leadership, and compassion. This title is earned through decades of service and study, and requires endorsement by the Council.

The Deputy Healers
This position is held by the two individuals most trusted by the Head Doctor. They assist in managing the guild’s most critical tasks, including overseeing operations, handling administrative duties, and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly in the absence of the Head Doctor. Additionally, they act as official representatives of the guild in both internal matters and external affairs. The Vice Head Healers hold the second-highest authority within the guild, entrusted with decision-making power when necessary.
 

The Council
Composed of all clinic chiefs, spiritual mentors, and magical healing leaders. These individuals aid in governance, resource management, and specialized education within the Coalition. They are the mentors to the next generation and keepers of this sacred knowledge. Aiding the head with important tasks, and being the only ones capable of electing the next head of the Coalition.
 

The Medics
Trained and active healers both magical and mundane who serve their communities, travel with caravans, or tend to battlefields and cities alike. They are the heart of the Coalition’s work. Always there to help those in need.
 

The Apprentices
New initiates to the healing path. Apprentices study under licensed healers, learning theory, practice, and the deeper ethics of their craft. They do not yet wear a brooch, but are watched with care and guided with patience.

Duty Above Grudges: While healers retain the right to refuse treatment to those with whom they hold personal grievances, it is their sworn duty to aid anyone in critical condition who has no one else to care for them.

 

Respect for Boundaries: A healer must always respect a patient’s autonomy. If the patient is lucid and expressly refuses treatment, the healer is obligated to honor that decision.

 

No Dark Practices: Succumbing to the dark arts is strictly forbidden. The role of a healer is to serve the living, not to manipulate death. Practices such as necromancy, blood magic, or any other corrupted arts are absolutely banned.

 

Sanctity of the Clinic: Violence within the clinic is strictly prohibited unless it is in self-defense or to protect patients and staff from immediate harm.

 

Confidentiality is Sacred: A healer must never share a patient’s personal information or condition, without their explicit consent unless withholding it would put others in direct danger. Trust is the foundation of healing.
