[OOC: This is a personal diary my character keeps, I thought it would be nice to share his experiences as they happen]

 

Day 1 ((Aug 25th, 2025))

 

Yesterday my path led me to the citadel of Viru, a somewhat small but well-fortified town situated on a very high ground. A nice lady let me inside and introduced herself as Lady Xiomara Inti. In truth, her name was 

longer, but I can't remember it all, I hope she forgives me if she happens to come upon my writings somehow. She said I can call her Inti. She also said she is one day to be the leader of these lands. It was then I discovered I'm speaking to future leader of that town. 

I was impressed by the lush gardens and the architecture, Inti mentioned she tends to all the flowers herself, imagine that! A leader who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty-- that's admirable! I was then introduced to a prince, Ulisses de Alencar. I think this is the first time I was around royalty, I hope I wasn't blushing or speaking nonsense. 

 

They told me Viru is not independent, warring parties want to claim it as theirs. Whatever happens, I hope Viru finds peace, even under a new lordship.

 

When I mentioned I'm seeking to learn more about these lands, they led me to Numenost upon their horses. I admit, I got a little sick and puked over the bridge, I'm not used to horse-riding! When we arrived, it was an awe-inspiring place-- a huge library with an amount of bookshelves and books I've never seen before! I was rather overwhelmed.

 

It seems my adventure is beginning on the right foot, I'm excited to discover more as I journey throughout the land.
