Just a Thought

You stumble across a note while looking at a bulletin board. The entire top half is covered by a picture. The picture is that of gold piled in a room, piled as high as an Orc stands tall. Intermingled with each pile of gold are bundles of diamond, more resplendent than the gold it stands next to. The drawing is not crude, but obviously had hours put into it. It is colored with brilliant paints. In a window, behind the piles of riches, is Al'Khazar, but only the rooftops of each building.

This is the treasury room in the royal castle. I am so glad that we finally have money in Oren, but why is it just sitting in a room? Perhaps it should be in the places around us, funding miners so we can get ores, smithies so we can get swords, and soldiers so we can kill of the scourge.

At least Enor is better than his father, and I am glad we finally have something. Now let's use it.

I leave this note anonymously, as there was a sign saying death would be levied on invaders to the room.

Enor is using his funds. He's paying the guards and i believe he's employed several architects, miners and smithys. He's doing a good job in my eyes and is saving that gold for when it needs to be used rather than spending it all at.

Aye, I am not saying he is doing a poor job. I think he is doing rather a good one. But there had to be at least 5 or 6 tons of gold in there...
