THE PEOPLES HOLDING

1st GODFREY’S TRIUMPH, 2047 I.T

It is the path of our ancestors, as they have eked out their survival on the wastes of Failor so will we grow upon these new shores of Kaldurr. Not only is it in our nature to survive the harshest environments, but it is through the wisdom and practices of our forebearers that we will prosper.

COUNT’S LANDING

After many weary weeks upon unsettled and vicious seas, the folk of Silasia found themselves on the shores of what we now call the Isles of Kalldur; a place of uncharted territory and mystery. While we have left behind our continent of old, the Silasians have found it prudent to hold to our values, bringing forth the value of unity. For we know that only together could we endure the unknown.

Thus, without delay, House Whitewood and Silasians have worked tirelessly through our exhaustion of travel to establish the Lordship of Sterhold, a refuge of timber and stone to shelter travelers and kinsmen alike– a beacon of safety and fellowship for all who cross these strange waters.

A BIDDING OF THE WHITEWOOD

By the grace of GODAN and the will of our people, Count Arturas Whitewood extends warm invitations to our Imperial liege, the House of Horen of the Empire of Man; our Princely liege, the House of Van Aert of the Principality of Blackvale; and our fellow vassals of the Principality of Blackvale and the Empire to dwell, meet, and find respite within these walls as we await the next chapter of our journey.

ORDER OF THE LAND

  1. IMPERIAL LAW
    1. The law of the Empire of Man endures entirely; every resident and traveler is subject to statutes of the Lex Tiberi.
  2. GUEST RITES
    1. Travelers and guests of the lands will be granted food, lodging and protection upon request.
  3. PRESERVATION
    1. All resources should be harvested with moderation– Trees felled require a sapling planted in its place; crops harvested require a seedling planted in return.
  4. Conduct of Trade
    1. Markets and merchants shall deal in honest measure

Signed,

The Right Honourable, Arturas Miklos Blaxton-Whitewood,

Count of Silasia, Baron of Blackwell, Lilenburg & Swan’s Keep, Lord of Sterhal

Patriarch of House Whitewood & Blaktonite Dynasty

Protector of Silasians, Watcher of the Birch

Her Ladyship, Nuvilta Svajone Whitewood,

Heir Apparant to the County of Silasia
