THE WITENMOT

 

The Imperial Assembly

His Imperial Majesty, Tiberias I, Emperor of Man, has instructed the Witenmot to assemble in Rittersberg at the Witenmot Chamber of the Rotesbelding on the 17th of Aurelian’s Glory, 626 AA (November 8, 2025 at 5:00 PM EST).

AGENDA

 

As approved by His Imperial Majesty and His Privy Council, the Agenda of the Witenmot is solely set to the following topics:

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: Identify the Oudbard

• The oldest member of the Witenmot is made the Oudbard and is to chair the Witenmot until the election of a Speaker, or in his absence.

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: Elect a Speaker of the Witenmot

• By majority vote, the Witenmot shall elect one of the Bergmen or Folkmen as their Speaker. The elected speaker shall chair the meeting of the Witenmot for this Composition.

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: Attendance Roll Call

• The chair shall record who is in attendance and return this information to the Privy. Only those not in attendance will be allowed to submit absentee votes to the chair after the close of the session.

 

✠ MATTER: Non-Human Tax Rate

• Options include:
  • Substantially increase the non-human tax to 30ƒ per annum
  • Increase the non-human tax to 20ƒ per annum
  • Maintain the non-human tax at 10ƒ per annum

 

✠ MATTER: Minimum Drinking Age

• Options include:
  • The drinking age should be set at 21
  • The drinking age should be set at 18
  • The drinking age should be set at 15
  • There should be no minimum drinking age

 

✠ MATTER: Medical Subsidies

• Options include:
  • Medical staff should be paid for their services by the Crown
  • Medical staff should be paid by their individual patients

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: Call for Extraordinary Topics

• The chair shall call for any member to speak or deliver topics to be sent to the Imperial Privy for formalization into the next agenda, if deemed within the Witenmot's competencies.
