[This vision is accessible to all Veilwatchers and follows the corresponding lore and redlines of Event Horizon]

Your vision melts. Your breath hitches.

You blink and you are among stones.

You blink and they are tombstones.

Dust coils at your feet.

It crawls out in undulating layers.

The earth is soil and then stone.

It is damp and then it’s dank.

Then it tremors, no, it quakes.

The walls obtrude and slouch and quiver.

Skulls grin from thrones on corbels.

Their grins aflame with a green fire.

THUD.

The stones bristle.

THUD.

The earth cracks.

THUD.

And all is a gray splinter.

Then there is light,

But paler than the sun.

Wronger than the moon.

You stand upon a stretching pillar.

You look and see: hues aplenty intermingled.

There is a deluge of wrongness.

There is laughter that’s no longer sane.

There are wicked charms that the evil lay.

The world collapses underneath their charms.

The space is torn, the game is won.

A Pale-Elf thrashes within his slumber; wisps of hellfire and infinitely chromatic light distort and distort away at the Veil.

When he wakes, a note is penned to a never-setting sun. A warning, perhaps;

or another invitation.
