This lore looks really cool, but as ScreamingDingo said... though do not be discouraged. There are other lore pieces you may be able to write. This was overall really good work, and an incredible read.

It's a shame, but the ball is still in play. Though, I have a feeling that Squak already has a plan for Saphiael

The ball is in play, indeed! I'll focus on communication with squak eventually, see if we can get some help improving this lore! On the other hand, I'll focus on making amends to break the threshold.

saphiel is SUPER different from yeu, unfortunately, none of the same aesthetic is present. she's a completely different character (yeu-rthulu had some problematic people interact with it in past and a clean reset was desired afaik) and i think trying to make this fit with her would be harder than just writing a new magic entirely, unforch.

you might be able to rework this into a different type of magic, though! it bares some similarity to a few older voidal magics that have since been removed/gone inactive, i.e. celestialism, arcanism, and voidal horrors often have ties to celestial theming.

Yes, I definitely see your point, and I agree. In any case, first, I'll try and amend what I can. If to no avail, I'll definitely rework it to a different type of school magic.

i wish you luck!

in truth, i've been off and on writing and conceptualizing a magic for saphiel myself (but nowhere near as far along as you are), and i find it interesting how many similar concepts we'd come to despite everything being changed. this must've taken you a tremendous amount of work, and i'm really sorry you didn't hear that the god it's for literally doesn't exist anymore until after you posted it.

On the topic of the magic, however, I am not upset or disappointed by it. I'm aware that hopefully this can be rebound back into play once I strike some conversations and make the appropriate changes.

mfs copying from you instead of developping their own formatting styles... i feel guilty for using ur formatting on inscribing now

anyway, shoutout F1F4. this is some of the coolest shit i've read in a good while. like others before me have said - don't be discouraged just bc yeu is dead. i can see this being adapted to maybe be a god-related deific magic, not really aengudaemonica, at the cost of maybe toning it down a slight bit. that aside, this is really good work, and the art used for the seats is beautiful, giggles did a great job. genuinely refreshing to see people come up with new and interesting things.

 

edit: the formatting jab is not directed either at you or the person who did the actual formatting, i just think its - like pallodium said - gotten out of control just how much people will straight up just copy his style

In truth, I actually was not conscious about Pallodium's formatting, ahaha. I don't use the forums as much, only started recently. These ideas were already granted to me since I made other formatting projects in other places, and this seemed to be the easiest for the magic lore. Shoutout to Pallodium though

Begging the Lore Team to let us have cool things! This is awesome asf, and fills a current gap for those that don't want to be a templar or a mage. I understand as those with more lore knowledge than me have stated, there's some issues with it currently but hoping we can see it in some form or another.
