WHITEWOOD

PORT

LANDLEASE

Let it be known to all who shall read or hear these presents, on this day a binding contract is made between:

 

I. The Right Honourable, Count of Silasia Arturas Miklos Whitewood, hereafter named the Grantor;

And

II. The enterprise, known as Silasia Siegeworks, represented in person by its heads, Miss Lilibet Amador and Mister Ulric, hereafter named the Lessee.

 

Both parties, of sound mind and with witnesses present, agree to the following articles.

ARTICLE I - LAND

I.A

The Grantor does hereby lease unto the Lessee a parcel of ground, situated east of the inclined path to Berzynstadt, south of the sheep farms on the sand.

I.B

The lessee shall develop the land into a port in conjunction and with oversight from the grantor.

I.C

A portion of the port and the natural land next to it will be granted to the lessee for their necessary operations, such as but not limited to: engineering, boatmaking, alchemy, herbology, etc. With necessary outbuildings also to the lessee’s trade. 

I.D
Alongside this construction, a pathway will be made to the Silasian coast that is to remain unimpeded.

I.E

The construction of additional facilities will require approval from the Count.

I.F

While leased, members of the enterprise shall be given the rights and dignities of Silasian citizens.

ARTICLE II - TAX

II.A

In exchange for said land, the Lessee shall yearly pay unto the Grantor a 40 Mina tax.

II.B

The Lessee will also supply the siege equipment or other engineering projects to the Grantor’s Household when reasonably demanded.

 

ARTICLE III - SUCCESSION 

III.A

The Lessee may pass this lease to a successor only within their enterprise, with the Grantor’s written assent.

III.B

The Grantor’s heirs shall honor this covenant for its full term.

III.C

The Lease shall last for a duration of 20 years.

III.D

The Lease may be terminated upon the failure of meeting the articles and terms established.
