Penned on 17th of The First Seed by Mereid Callaghan

It has been made known that a member of the Callaghan, Morwen Callaghan, has made tribute in aiding the military of Cerulia with contribution and allegiance. Having left many years ago, it was made clear of Morwen’s determination and intent to leave the family and start a new life elsewhere. With her most recent betrayal, it is clear now where her loyalty lies.

I. Cause

By actions deemed dishonorable, unlawful, or in betrayal of our house’s oaths and values, the said Morwen Callaghan will forfeit all claim to kinship, protection, and inheritance under the Callaghan name.

Her offenses include, but are not limited to:

  • Belittling and denying the sanctity of the laws of Idunia and her people.
  • Criticisms of the Oath of Tar Numentar.
  • Decrying the institution of the Empire.
  • Following and aiding in the military efforts of Cerulia, the Cerulian Levy.

II. Judgment

As of the releasing of this writ, and on this day on and so forth:

  • Morwen Callaghan shall hold no rights under our house.

  • Her name is struck from our scrolls and remembered no longer.

  • No man or woman of Callaghan shall offer them aid, word, or welcome.

III. Witness and Word

Let it be known to those that read and hear of this writ:
I, Mereid Callaghan of House Callaghan, denounce and disown Morwen, my dear twin sister. For the treason, disloyalty, and betrayal in her actions towards The High Kingdom of Idunia and The Principality of Tir-Glas.

This writ is entered into record and sealed by the hand of the current Regent of House Callaghan until the Head of the House resumes her duties.

Signed,

Bron cursed this conflict. He cursed the war. And those who started it. His little sister...
Guilt gnawed at his heart.

The bowie-knight quietly wondered how often his children listened to their father, the once Kieran, a flat expression upon his face, an empty gaze in his eye. His thumbs idly brushed a letter from one of those Callaghan's who still had a heart in their chest; who could separate oath from ethic.

'I will do what I must, Victor: nothing personal.'

How odd it was the hands might move with more grace than the head might think,

and sister come to sister and sever that bond of kinship,

forever more.

A certain Illatiana read over the missive. She knew who’d brought this about. And she felt nothing but disappointment. Her resolve hardening in her recent life changes.

Maddock Tam smiled reading this. "We welcome anyone who wishes to help us defend freedom and justice for descendant-kind. Hope to meet you soon, Morwen Callaghan."

“Ich only wish Mich sister had not followed this path.. By no hand of her family was this done but only by her own.. Fighting against her people was the final straw for those who loved her.”  Owin would sigh as he rocks back in forth within his home in Tir’Glas holding his daughter Silvana close.

A certain COUNT OF CHAOS and VILLAIN was proud "Better to follow your heart than to follow some stupid orders by people that think they're cool! And aren't! Unlike me... The Grand Count! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!"

A Blood Royal of Idunia reads the disownment unhappily. He had attempted to stretch out how long he would go without reporting it. Because for all his anger at her, for coming into his fief drunk, causing problems, for berating people just trying to live their lives, he hadnt been eager to do so. He wanted to give her a chance. Eventually, Castamir had written his testimony and sent it on, but he had done it reluctantly.

"I would have respected your decision more, had you not tried to have your cake and eat it too. Because I think most would agree with you in spirit. Even if reality got in the way."

He then went to train, he was a knight at last. Now a templar aspirant.
