With great joy, the Duchy of Valwyck announces a blessing from Godan, that the Heir to House Baruch, Duncan the Younger and his wife, Constantina of Dover, have been blessed with their firstborn child late this eve. The babe, a hearty and healthy son, bears the green eyes of his Father, and fiery red hair. Both he and his mother remain in good health while recovering, and we pray for the boy’s long and prosperous life.

 

He is thus given the name:

The boy will be baptized in the Church of the Wardfather in Tarnavon, with a celebratory hunt taking place thereafter in the forests surrounding Valwyck to celebrate the young boy’s birth. The one who returns with the most impressive game will be awarded 150 mina, as well as a custom weapon made from the finest of Valwyck steel of their choosing to be forged by the renowned Tarnavon smithy, the Molten Claw. Afterwards, the game will be roasted in the village square for all to enjoy.
