FOREWORD

 

Dance is perhaps one of the purest forms of cultural and personal expression. It requires no words, no language, no verbal communication of any kind. And yet it has come to the attention of a select few that participation on the Petrine dance floors is woefully lacking. The courtiers of the Petrine Court of Autumn invite you to partake in an evenng of education - not one occupied with philosophy or history, but one of rhythm, movement, and medlody. Your esteemed tutor for the evening will be none other that Lady Delphine Carnelle-Jagiellon, who will instruct you one the basics on the waltz, fit for any soiree, ball, or noble affair. Following this first tutorial, a second shall be introduced, one aligned with Petrine cultural styles. Musical services will be provided courtesy of the eminent Viscount Jean-Baptise Auclair. Partnering for dances is encouraged, but not required.
