Hello you beautiful people of the LotC community. I am... well [insert mouthful name here] and I am lost!

Not as in that's my character name - a bit too edgy for me - and not really in character... More like, I'm a bit lost on what to do, but let me introduce myself first to see what I mean.

 

So, six (SIX?! THAT LONG AGO?) years ago I was a happy, bubbly high school student that discovered LotC and thought "man, this sounds cool". I got in, somehow, had my character, and then once in, major fishbones - I felt both overwhelmed and underwhelmed. I was not sure what to do with it and scratched that poor first character out. Then got to be a biiig frog, because, let's be real here, it is extremely funny being a toad, but back then it really felt like you were constantly trying to fight the server every time you moved an chunk so I ended up slowly moving away from LoTC.

 

Six years later, hello! I'm here! I'm now a university student on their last year, and my writing has evolved from humbly cringe to "eventually awkward". I would be kinda-really-somewhat-fully interested on roleplaying here... But, let's put it this way, I wasn't sure of how things worked here 6 years ago, and 6 years worth of memories in-between make it really much much harder to recall a single thing... Besides my login credentials.

 

But I have a plan! I'll evilly hijack this introduction thread in order to ask for help getting reintroduced to how things work here and maybe even get some beautiful player with an amazingly deep and storied character show me the way of the azure-lands once in. Of course, I'm sure of that happening because only beautiful players with storied and deep characters post replies to these threads. (Inb4 two weeks pass and I get 0 replies).

Comedic tone aside, I'd really appreciate a kind hand!
