With the incredible return of our Prince Martinus Horen and the reinstatement of Princess Livia Horen, as well as the upcoming nuptials of Prince Titus Horen, We, the Celosian Courts have elected to dedicate this year’s courtly revelries to the Unity and Strength of House Horen. 

 

As such, We call upon the Citizenry of the Empire to join us and partake in the merriment of this splendid occasion in honor of our reunited Family.

The Month of Aurelian’s Glory | Saturday, February 28th

 

The Caesonian Tourney | at 6 pm EST
A grand tourney will be held at the behest of the Imperial family to honor this period of prosperity for the House of Horen. Jousting, duels, and other such associated activities of  competitive revelry will ensue upon the appointed day. All Citizens of the Imperial Realm are invited to partake in this event of great splendor. 

 

A prize sum of 250 Farthings shall be distributed to each victor of the tournament. In addition, the victors of the day’s proceedings shall be further honored by receiving a laurel of fresh olive leaves–a symbol most cherished by the House of Horen.
 

The Month of Sun’s Smile | Sunday, March 1st

 

The Martinian Ball | at 4 pm EST
The next evening will bear witness to a ball of revelry and mirth. Citizens of the Empire are once more invited to join the Imperial Family for a final celebration honoring the Imperial Royalty and the victors of the Caesonian Tourney. In accordance with courtly etiquette, all Imperial Nobility in attendance  are encouraged to don their finest attire in the presence of House Horen and their honored champions. The victors of the previous day’s Tourney are heavily encouraged to don their laurel, in order to display their triumph.

Lord of all Virtue, font of Mercy, we thank You for the return of the wayward children of Horen, for a time lost to us, yet never abandoned by You. Forgive us for our lack of highest faith, for when they left us we wept, knowing not of Your plan for them. We thank you for the path you gave them, and while our eyes were shrouded, You knew the good of what would come from the journey walked. To You, O’Lord, we dedicate our joy, for it is by Your Works and Your infinite Wisdom that son and daughter are returned, and a family is united once more.
