Citizens of Alduun, and esteemed allies beyond our walls,

It is with great pleasure that I may finally announce that the Scholarium of Alduun now stands fully established. What once existed only as a project in progress, shaped by careful planning and patient hands, has now taken form as a place dedicated wholly to learning, teaching, and the preservation of knowledge within our realm. The halls are prepared, the tomes arranged, and the foundation for scholarly pursuit laid firmly for those who seek wisdom within our city.

Alongside this, the Greenhouse located just beyond the rear of the Scholarium is now open for public access. Those who possess a curiosity for botany, alchemical ingredients, or the quiet study of the natural world are welcome to make use of the space. It is my hope that the garden will serve not only as a place of learning, but also as one of reflection and discovery for any who wander its paths.

Knowledge, after all, does not grow solely within books. It grows in questions asked aloud, in discoveries shared between peers, and in the willingness to pursue understanding wherever it may lead. A nation that nurtures curiosity nurtures its future, and Idunia shall be no exception to this truth.

For this reason, the Scholarium shall not stand silent.

I now extend a call to teachers, scholars, and professors within our nation, as well as among our trusted allies, who wish to share their knowledge with others. Whether your talents lie in history, magic, medicine, theology, the natural sciences, or any craft that may enrich the minds of those willing to learn, your wisdom would be welcomed within these halls.

Those who seek to host lectures or classes are encouraged to contact the Master of Tomes directly to present their field of study and the knowledge they wish to impart.

Scholars deemed suitable for instruction within the Scholarium will be offered payment for their time and teachings once a regular program of classes is formally established.

Let this be the beginning of something greater for Idunia. A place where questions are encouraged, learning is shared freely, and the pursuit of knowledge is seen not as a luxury but as a responsibility to those who will shape the future of our people.

I look forward to meeting those who wish to contribute their wisdom.

In service to knowledge and the realm,

- Isílphël

A young Petrine, donned in emerald green, read the missive penned by the Master of Tomes. A soft grin permeating his sun-kissed visage.

“I was just wandering how long finding a mentor may take.” Gilles Therin mulled to himself with a chuckle before making preparations to travel to the Idunian capital.

The previous Master of Tomes, the Countess Maerîl is proud to see the library in its completion! She certainly could not have gotten it all done juggling bard duties, being Admiral of Ports, and Countess at once.

Giving the duties over to Zora might have been the best decision for the Scholarium!

A curious Professor inspects the missive, "I wonder what new tomes I might find.."
