The birds are singing in the nearby trees as he gets up from his seat at the edge of the bridge and starts to head into Belgrade. "...Peace at last..." he smiles.

Reading over a missive that passed along her desk would a certain gobliness pause from her solitary labors to reread the parchment's contents before a mix of emotions seemed to simmer within her mind....

 

Laughter? No, it felt bitter in taste to think of such irony befallen what once her bruddahs & sistahs of a lifetime ago. Sadness to see how the pedestal only climbs higher in the monopoly of government? Perhaps, but what's left of Gummy was in no standings to stand up alone for what she knew & felt with a hint of disappointment.
