A guide to LC (Limited Creative)

A large chunk of the tickets mod team receives are LC tickets (Limited Creative) and we see a lot of confusion about what it is, how it works, and how to make a good ticket for one, so here is a simple guide on everything LC!

 

What is LC?

LC stands for Limited Creative. Mod will create a brand new region around the requested area, and people added to that region will automatically be put into LC. It functions just as regular creative, you can break and place blocks at will with the exception of our prohibited blocks such as an anvil, brewingstand, ore blocks, and more.

 

What does it cost?

Every block placed costs 0.1 mina. If you break a block you placed, you get the mina back. All natural blocks such as stone, wood, and dirt are free to place. You need to provide a minimum of 10 mina for the LC, but any mina you don’t use gets returned to you when the LC is closed. If you want to know how much mina you have left, you can run /rg info and click on the region beginning with lc_

How do I make a /modreq?

There are three things you need to make an LC region that must be included in your /modreq

• Permission
  • You need RO (region owner) permission in the region you want your LC. To check who a RO is, you can run /rg info and click on the realm/vassal/lair you are in. RO or PRO both are able to give permission. You must provide a screenshot of said permission.

• Mina
  • You need to specify how much mina you wish to put in the LC. It is best to have this mina in your bank so we can directly take it out, even if you are offline.
• Location
  • You need to provide a location for your LC. This could be coordinates providing the locations of the corners you want, or the location of a building/structure you wish the LC to be around. You must specify.

 

If your ticket is lacking any/all of these requirements, it may be left sitting for a bit as we don’t know what that LC would entail. If you go offline with your ticket sitting, we are unable to complete the ticket at all until you are back online.

How do I add my friends?

When you own an lc, you can add more people to help you build by running the command /rg addmember [region] [user]

To find out your region, you can run the command /rg info and find the region with lc_ at the start. It will usually be lc_[your username] or a shortened version of your name.

 

How do I add more mina?

To add more mina, simply run the command /lc pay. It will prompt you for the region which will be lc_[name] and then it will ask for the amount of mina to deposit. You must have the mina on you to deposit it.

If the command doesn’t work, make a /modreq and a team member will help you as soon as we can.

Ex. /modreq I cannot add more mina to my lc. Please take 50 from my bank and add it to lc_rose

 

How do I get the fancy debug stick?

While in LC, you can run the command /lc stick and be given your very own debug stick.

 

How do I close my LC?

Closing your lc is simple. You can run the command /lc finish and it will close the lc and deposit the mina back to you.

If your lc region won’t close, make a /modreq and we will close the region and refund you the mina as soon as we can!

Ex. /modreq Please close my LC, lc_rose

 

HELP! I’VE FALLEN AND I CAN’T GET UP!

If you fall from higher than 200 blocks from your LC, you will fall and die. Make a quick modreq and we will help you right away. If we are too late, we can tp you back to all of your stuff.
