A Galdissiel's Heart

Caurosian people, my compassion, my people, my lliran.
Adont’ahern. Lend me but a moment of your time in reading this missive. 

I would like to begin with a soft appreciation for all who take the time to read. It is with my highest hope that those reading this know the name Maeth Galdissiel, at least in passing. For those that do, it is because of your support that this missive has been given life.  For those who don't allow me but a moment to speak of my experience.

I found myself in these walls nearly 10 elven years ago. I had spent years travelling without having a home after tragedy. I actively avoided major settlements, afraid to approach, afraid of what I didn't know until one day...one fateful day, something pulled me to Caras Siol. Its sights inviting, warm, like no other I've seen previous. Since my arrival, the souls that reside in these walls and beyond have become something that I felt undeserving of. Talonnii. Seen past race, social status, and abilities in kind. I learned of the compassion and heart that comes with knowing you are where you are meant to be. lin. 

Through these years I have learned of the Fundamental Truths, the Laws of which our people uphold lovingly and without question, Your Pantheons...but more so in particularly...I learned of the strength to smile again, laugh, reclaim part of myself that I thought lost. I learned to love as fiercely as I protect, strength unwavering in the face of adversity and without question. I have spoken these words before, and continue to do so: I owe so much to the souls within these walls from all aspects of life. 

It is my calling to continue to serve not only as your shield...but as your voice as well now.

I humbly ask for support of each of you for endorsement in the opportunity to extend myself into El'Illeriran, in active stewardship for those who find themselves here as I once did. If you would so honor me the ability to do so, I ask that you merely deliver a smile to me, speak with me if you do not know of me, offer my name to whispers of consideration. To be known by each one of you, would be a great kindness to me. If you consider me fit for the station, raise your stories of me through the Princedom.

I encourage each of you to take time to consider this offer. Write me if you wish to speak, I will always make time for those who seek me out, as I have always done.
