The letter shows up sealed with this black wax that has a crowned skull stamped on it. The parchment edges look singed, like shadows touched them or something.

To the Newly Blooded.

You answered the call. You left behind the Empires rotting body and picked walking in shadows instead of kneeling in those fancy chains. For that, welcome.

Now you are not just wanderers or outcasts or broken people anymore. From tonight, you stand under Ragthanatos banner, the Dark lord. People who serve him are chosen ones, tested, reforged in blood and darkness until they become something bigger.

The path is not easy at all. You get sharpened like a blade, tempered in fire, stained by enemies sins. Obey. Learn. Get strong. Prove yourself with actions and loyalty, and you rise, get power, purpose, vengeance.

If you betray, act like a coward, or tell secrets to the Empires greedy lords, you get forgotten, or worse maybe.

This day, six new flames got kindled. Let them burn bright for me.

Whisperers will guide your first steps. Listen good. Train hard. Drop the weakness from your old life.

The words come off with this mocking amusement. I have seen so many once-slayers bleed out. They beg for mercy every time. And those who claimed my head. Well, their eyes end up in my collection anyway.

When the Blackthorn Dominion marches. The spirits will not call you to battle. They will summon you to the slaughter instead. It seems pretty clear.
