Meditating, broken glass pillars surrounded her in the dark sea of her mind, the voices on her head seemed thin, quiet, and calm. The leviathan would remain still, reflective eyes watching. She had not been using her magic for long, the connection to the void waning. . .    She had wished to wield voidal magic, it felt so natural to her, that she could do anything, that she could share the whimsical side of the void with the ones she loved. . . She never did finish her water evocation lessons. . . Never did manage to finish her magnum opus, it was never meant to see the light of day. . . Never did manage to find an apprentice. . .   She needed a new path, the voices all echoed, stagnation was no longer possible, her peace had been broken, she needed to put it back together.    It was time to let go. Her mortal coil free from the void’s influence. . . One by one, fading, fading, fading, fading. . .   Her eyes opened, the sea was no longer dark. A familiar foggy mist would surround her. Cracked pillars of glass stood, mending silently. The only path is forwards. Ashes flutter towards the horizon. Push on. Even so.   Somewhere, sometime in the past, present, or future.
