This is a RP story, this story contains a bit of information on what is happening to the Mantis IRPLY. Please do not metagame this information.

The Mantis would wake up, rubbing her eyes. Her eyes would glance across the little portion of the cave she calls home, looking past the foliage and furniture that was in the home. She would then furrow her brows in thought. “That… dream again.” she’d mutter… hopping off her bed, and stretching her arms. She would then slip on some sandals… and would open her tiny door, not quite fit for a descendant, and would duck down to get through.

 

Upon exiting her little cave home, she’d quickly notice no sprites were about. She would then begin walking down the little spiral in Song Hollow- glancing towards the Murmur Tree, before exiting the place… passing by the Murmur Gate, and would then walk into the area where the clinic, and tavern were.

 

She would glance towards the gate, and she would proceed to sigh. “Still night out…” she mumbled… The drui did not want to go outside when it was dark… She would then shudder as she remembered a previous encounter with a darkspawn at this time of night. She would then glance towards the lush caves… She’d tilt her head- and would then begin the trek down the lush caves… something with melodic calls telling her to go down there. 

 

She’d pass by the little cave homes… stepping closer and closer to whatever was calling her amongst nature's song. Amongst the glowberries– she’d then noticing the cave expanding into a larger sort of garden. The garden looked normal, however something nearby was beckoning her to go closer. 

 

She would then approach… and would find a beautiful bush.. Her eyes would widen at the beauty of the plant. It had star shaped green colored leaves, beautiful purple bark, and little berries that appear to be blueberries. She would then step closer to the plant… touching one of its branches gently… and would hear the melodic calls beckon her to rest… She wanted to. Why couldn’t she? So she’d take a seat by the plant… Her eyes drifted to a close- as she then fell underneath its branches- as she was bid to rest.

 

The plant would then act- and would begin devouring and replacing her body. Those star shaped leaves replaced her hair, her skin, now that purple bark… The Fae Plant proceeded to intertwine their souls together, whether the Mantis wanted such or not. Then, she became bound, for... Eternity?

Mantis gets lured over by a fae plant and gets devoured and turned into a plant lady called an epiphyte. BOOM

Anyways, really hyped to get this CA in! This isn't officially canon until the CA is submitted and accepted.
This is my second epiphyte CA.... I'm looking forward to it!
