((I'd like to know who these orcish shaman are that are being played by the Undead players, Brevias and AllentheGreat, also possibly Vardak. Nothing against them, I think they're solid role-players, it's just extremely confusing to see them popping in and out of character, changing their alts, etc. Just today we've got Brevias rolling into a Shaman Council meeting when I've never even seen his orcish shaman character in-game in the three months I've been here. AllentheGreat was casting lightning in the palace throne room a while back and hanging around as a shaman and Vardak has rolled through Sanjezal in an Or'Gok mask once before, then a cactus mask. What the hell is going on here? How do we factor these characters into the role-play when they're just showing up on a whim and most of us have no idea who they are?))

(( I'm not actually a Shaman, but needing to go out and gather information about the peoples of Aegis [Which I can't very-well do in Undead Robes], I had to find a way to do that.

So I posed as one, My character was going to take apprenticeship as a Shaman before I left Krugmar, and had learned information on them, and went to all five nations, listening in on a conversation there, saying a word here, and using that information to my advantage, For example, getting the personal seal of the Human King that allows me into most areas of Oren, which was pretty useful till he died and all. I only have one character, I don't have any "alternate" characters, as that disturbs personal RP quite a bit, even just mechanic wise. ))

Quezacolt from FFVIII/the Final Fantasy Series in general? Thats the only representation I can think of where the Aztec god was depicted as anything storm related.

If you want to join the Shaman, you must find an Elder willing to train you. It's that simple.

As for what I think of Shamany, I perceive altars and sights of reverence towards spirits (be it elements, ancestors, or immortal spirits) as shamany. No prettiness or strange magical occurances which cannot be explained outside of a natural level (that seems like more something Mages would be doing).

((Nah, just a large translucent snake with an electric pulse running through it, the tounge is pure static and the wings shaped of stormclouds that kinda shift and warble a bit since well, they are clouds. I debate if I should give him a mane of static sparks or more cloud feathers still havnt decided.. I really like making spirits. Im thinking about drawing the ones I think of and posting them for shamans to take as they train up :3))

Sounds good to me, thanks for clarifying. Sorry if I sounded like an Oren Guard for a minute there. It was really just the OOC knowledge of nameplates and skins that was confusing me, IC I usually just role with it if it's obvious that there's either a temporary alt or a deception going on. Lud's pretty dense and gullible when it comes to orcs, he assumes that they're all strong and honorable until proven blatantly otherwise.
