Dio Astóre 69 Share Posted November 27, 2011 Vanitas paintings use more obvious symbology, but let's see what we have here; sand, cobble, dirt, water, one block of obsidian and lava. Interpretation: each block represents an associated element for a Descendant Race, which is holding back a firey wave of destruction, which seems remiscent of the Undeads' effect on wherever they sweep through. The obsidian was formed when the lava found a weakness (the gap) in the 'defenses' and the water halted the molten march. The Ascended tide? Fitting theme given the happenings of late. Elindor 666 Share Posted November 27, 2011 That's a lot of reading into it. Your hazarded guess, however, is incorrect. Nice making it look like a painting too. Rather homely touch.
