I'm a weird 15-year old. I spend a lot of my time doing creative fantasy writing (whether it's for RP servers or purposes or not) or doing RP mapwork for servers that hire me.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I can do 10+ hours a week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?:

Being an actor at my high school, roleplaying has come naturally to me. Roleplaying is the art of literally playing a role. You take a guise that is one other than yourself, and you be that person to the best of your ability.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is the use of out of character (OOC) knowledge to your advantage in character (IC). An example of this would be if you knew the admins were planning for a War between two kingdoms, and you went around telling people that this would happen in character. Powergaming I'm not sure of. I've only heard the term "godmodding" which I believe is the same, but godmodding is forcing actions upon others in a roleplay. To avoid godmodding, one should have their actions be "attempts" so that the other person has the ability to respond or let the action happen if they want to.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect it to be an exciting, thrilling, roleplay adventure with a story that will keep me on my toes and make me want to come back for more!

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I was an administrator for Islands of Strife, a fantasy roleplaying server. I was the king of the human nation, and a dungeon/map builder. I loved the server and put a lot into it, but the owner stopped paying and shut it down. I was a roleplayer on Overture III for a while, but the server is about to go offline and the owner (GavLan) has decided to stay here.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Thormund grew up with 5 older brothers, and a father who pushed him as much as he could. His older brothers all enlisted to be soldiers like their father had been. Before Thormund could even speak, his brothers were all killed in battle. This broke his father, and he was no longer the man he used to be. Thormund promised himself that he would grow up to be valiant like his brothers to make his father happy, but he told himself he would never be killed. So Thormund spent most of his life training to be the best warrior he could, while his mother and father still grieved over their lost sons and paid no attention to their hard-working son. Thormund excelled over most of the other dwarves while training, and many told him he would grow to be a great soldier. They were right. As soon as he was old enough, Thormund enlisted for battle and was sent to fight a group of humans. He swept the battlefield, delivering killing blow after killing blow, an unstoppable force of fury. To this day, he still has the axe that he used in that great battle, which he has named Lightning to compliment the thunderous force that he brings to the battlefield. Over the years, Thormund climbed military rankings, becoming a legend to many dwarves. He got the nickname Thunderbeard, because of the fiery color of his beard, and the fear he brings to most armies he battles. If one were to see him fight, he charges head-on, leading the stampede of dwarves in a rush of glory, swinging his axe from foe to foe, splitting heads and sternums alike. For years he proudly fought and won, until one fateful day when his home village was attacked. His army was crushed, and the village was razed along with his parents. He survived the battle, but has fled. He is now 38 years old, and still going strong. He is dressed in his Commander's Armor, a heavy chain-and-plate set adorned with blue, and a winged helmet with a red jewel crest. He stands tall and burly, even for a dwarf, but his eyes glint green with a warm kindness.

Your characters ambitions:

Thormund wishes to join whatever military force will have him, and fight for their cause, though it must be noble.

Very nice application. Have fun and please be patient while a GM promotes you to a member. It won't be instant, so explore the world of Aegis as a wandering soul or read a book or something.
