I dont think they should be called the Rangers, the humans already have a branch with that name. Instead how about something like Nighthawks?

I hear that the High Prince had designs on this sort if thing already, so I would suggest just waiting. Also, I do believe the nighthawks were the evil counterparts of the Eledhel.

Okay there is a elite squad of elves called the Pathfinders i am not the leader though. BenjaminKayEight is if you wish to join i am going to talk to him about starting a way to join the pathfinders i will get back to you on this topic in a little bit

Well I've heard the Pathfinders have been formed, and I'd love to join, I just can't get in touch with Native/Elvenlord Blackthorn.

I have helped out Blackthorn (Ben) a little with this.So as far as I know (It could have changed recently) to get in you need:

-minimum of 5 archery skill (although it may be 10... its is probably 10...)

-minimum of 5 swords skill (you do not need to progress this after to rank up)

This will allow you to join as an initiate, the lowest rank, then you can progress by increasing your skills in archery (after the initial 5 swords no more is required). Then there is another rank above initiate, map-reader or something like that (I came up with this and I have already forgotten what I called it...) then you become a full pathfinder.

There are also some special ranks above this, who are specialists. I think there is a field marshal (commander) and some another one... There are also fletchers and cooks (who have the same rank as a map-reader).
